Privacy Policy

Effective 21 August 2026

1. Who we are

Adullam provides tools for Scripture study, prayer, Christian groups, live gatherings, and ministry leadership. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use adullam.app, the Adullam mobile app, or the Adullam Dashboard.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, profile image, and authentication identifiers.
  • Community content you choose to share, including prayers, reflections, messages, group activity, and live-room participation.
  • App and device data such as device type, diagnostics, notification tokens, language, time zone, and feature usage.
  • Subscription status, store product, transaction identifier, and expiry date. We do not receive or store full card details.
  • Support messages and information you send when contacting us.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure Adullam, authenticate accounts, deliver group and live-room features, sync progress, send requested notifications, verify memberships, provide support, understand product reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Apple processes iOS in-app subscriptions, Google processes Android in-app subscriptions, and Paystack may process payments made on our website. Those providers handle payment credentials under their own privacy policies. Adullam receives only the information needed to verify a transaction and maintain access.

5. Service providers and transfers

We use carefully selected providers for hosting, authentication, databases, media, communications, analytics, crash diagnostics, video, and payments. These may include Google Firebase, Amazon Web Services, Stream, Mixpanel, Smartlook, Apple, Google Play, and Paystack. Information may be processed outside Ghana with contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service.

6. Sharing and visibility

We do not sell personal information. Content posted to a group or live gathering is visible to the people and leaders in that space according to its settings. We may share information with service providers, when you direct us to, to protect people or the service, or when legally required.

7. Retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for the purposes above, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. We use access controls, encryption in transit, provider verification, and monitoring, but no online system can promise absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update account details, manage notification permissions, leave groups, and manage subscriptions through your Apple or Google store settings. You may request access, correction, export, objection, restriction, or deletion where applicable under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and other relevant law.

9. Children

Adullam is not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian, church, or organisation responsible for a young person should supervise their participation and avoid placing sensitive information in community spaces.
